 Sever the Wicked is a five-piece metal band from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, forged in a city defined by culture, industry, and unrest. Blending crushing riffs with slow-burn tension, the band delivers heavy music that is disciplined, deliberate, and emotionally charged.

Formed by Joe, Charles, and Aaron, the trio first collaborated after high school in the alternative band Dive before moving into heavier territory with Caustic 6. After a long hiatus, they reunited with renewed focus and unfinished business, giving rise to Sever the Wicked. The lineup was completed with guitarists Brian and Nate.

Known for controlled, unrelenting live performances, Sever the Wicked is actively gigging while preparing to release their debut studio album in 2026.
